NEVER RECIEVED MY DEPOSIT BACK

WHERE DO I BEGIN, I RENTED A TRAILER IN TAVERNIER FOR $1300.00 THE DEPOSIT AND FIRST MONTHS RENT WAS $2600.00 I SIGNED LEASE THINKING THIS WAS A REMODELED TRAILER AND IT LOOKED REALLY NICE. FIRST NIGHT THAT I STAYED THERE I TRIED USING THE SINK AND THE PLUMBING WASNT EVEN CONNECTED TO THE PIPES, WENT TO BED AND HAD ANTS CRAWLING ON ME ALL NIGHT NEXT DAY WENT TO GET READY FOR WORK, THE WATER WAS SQUIRTING IN THE LIVING ROOM. CALLED REALTOR RIGHT AWAY. PLUMBER CAME OVER AND TOLD ME THAT NOTHING WAS CONNECTED AND ADVISED ME TO MOVE OUT IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE HE DIDNT WANT THE OWNER BLAMING ME FOR ALL THE WATER DAMAGE. MASTER BEDROOM FLOOR ALSO CAVING IN. ALSO CAN NOT OPEN WINDOWS BECAUSE THEY ARE MOLDED SHUT WITH NO SCREENS. WHAT IF THERE WAS A FIRE???? REALTOR TOLD ME THAT THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEM WITH ME MOVING OUT AND GETTING MY MONEY BACK TO LET HER KNOW NEXT DAY. I CONFIRMED IT THAT NIGHT. FOLLOWING DAY I DROVE TO KEY WEST TO STAY WITH MY MOM BECAUSE THIS HOUSE WAS NOT LIVABLE CONDITIONS. SPOKE WITH REALTOR AND SHE SAID SHE NEVER SAID THAT IT WAS OK FOR ME TO MOVE OUT NEXT DAY. I HAVE 2 WITNESS'S THAT HEARD HER SAY THIS TO ME. 2 DAYS AFTER THIS SHE SENT ME A EMAIL STATING THAT MY LEASE WOULD BE RIPPED UP AND I WOULD GET MY MONEY BACK ON OCTOBER 18TH,2013 I HAD TO QUIT MY JOB AND MOVE OUT OF STATE BECAUSE THERE ARE NO RENTALS AVAILABLE TO LIVE IN UNDER $1500. A MONTH. I AM IN PHILLY RIGHT NOW AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY MONEY. I GAVE HER EVERY PENNY THAT I HAD IN SAVING. I CALLED THE OFFICE MANAGER TODAY AND HE TOLD ME HE WOULD CALL ME BACK TODAY BECAUSE SHE WONT ANSWER ANY OF MY CALLS OR TEXT.... HE HAS NOT CALLED ME BACK EITHER.... PLEASE HELP ME WHAT OUR MY OPTIONS, IM LOSING MY PATIENCE

Unethical games and ripped me off for $550

I will try to make this short.. Kevin Booker a real estate agent played unethical games. now he owes me $550 for money that i have never received any service for. I signed up to sell my condo with Kevin after getting a good buyer and ready to close the deal the buyer send a cancellation to kevin to be forwarded back to me. Kevin hid this information be cause he wanted me to open a escrow with a new home purchase so that way he can be in control and I can lower my price of my condo. In fact I have opened the escrow on a Friday the same day my buyer for my own condo sent the cancellation but i didn't see it till Monday. I have also gave Kevin $550 for an inspection for my new home. Once I found out about the c cancellation I wanted to retrieve and cancel my new home sale escrow and pull back my $550 but after 4 days Kevin was still pushing back on it. At last he said that don't worry about the money he will take care of it. for 8 weeks he came with so many excuses not to pay for the $550 for the inspection that never took place and never provided any report. All I want now is $550 and expose Kevin about his games and unethical behavior.

You can also report him to BBB, or talk to his supervisor, if he has a supervisor. You can take him to small claim court, and have him pay you the 500 plus court feel. :sigh

Profile and VERY RUDE

I was posting this in regards to the Caldwell Banker Conciage agent Penny, and the company as a whole. My phone call started from Ms. Penny being very rude and defensive when I enquired about the conciege service. She Said they had a JJ"s Landscaping servicing thier properties but would look into things and get back to us. She called me back today and informed me that because My company is JJ Landscaping LLC she couldnt list me as a vender due to my name. And because of our name she wouldnt give us the time of day for anything. She told me this name difference reaked havic on the account recievable in New Jersery. We do work for a property they just inquired and they pay us as it is already. they send us a few checks for over 1200.00 in invoices we never sent. We notified them about the issue and they corrected our check and we reurned the checks that werent owed to us. however the result is that we now lost a client and there profiling my company due to the name. I just dont think this is right. I do the right thing and still get profiled and discriminated.

Rude & Unprofessional!

As I didn't have my contract with me, I called Candi Noyes @ Coldwell Bankers 120 st Ocean city, for details on linens. I gave her unit number and She said I had to bring my own linens. We arrived and delivery came for linens and I told him no there must be mistake. The mistake was dealing with Coldwell Bankers. I contacted them, supervisor, for a credit and they said no. Explaining what happened, with contacting their "professional" employees apparently has no meaning and no credit. Informed me, my fault for not reading contract ( which was a mistake on my part) YET I CALLED Sale force 2 days BEFORE going down and SPECIFICALLY ask about linens! They rip you off, we should have gotten a refund!

Deceptive practices-Dottie Lay

I am selling my home in Palm Coast. Coldwell Banker sales person DOTTIE LAY of the St. Augustine, Fl branch showed my home to a couple, who placed a bid. In light of roof related issues I agreed to reduce my price $5,000. I was later contacted by my realtor's assistant who was asking on behalf of DOTTIE LAY(buyer's realtor) that I sign an addendum at closing which reflected the original offer rather than the reduced offer.The excuse given to me was that it was suppose to be on behalf of the housing sales market, making the sales market look better.????!!! This would of course result in my paying hundreds more in realtor fees, taxes, etc.. YEAH RIGHT!!! OUTRAGED!! Obviously trying to take advantage of me for a couple of hundred dollars, resulting in potential thousands of dollars loss for me. WATCH THIS ONE...dot the "i's" and cross the "T's"..

It's always unfortunate the realtor representing the seller in this case did not understand the reasoning for showing the sales price with a credit back to buyer for full roof replacement. Sometimes the finger points to the wrong person as in this situation.

Coldwell banker 122 st ocean city Maryland - soiled toilet and terrible customer service

We arrived at our beach rental unit on 134st ocean city (sea galleon) and the toilet was completely filthy - filled with human waste. Staff at cold well banker (Danika) made zero effort to make the situation better so I asked to speak to her supervisor (female, didn't get her name) and the supervisor had the same song and dance that the contract gave them until 6pm to clean the unit. (note to realtor: it makes no sense to require a 3pm check - in and 6pm cleanup). Supervisor had the audacity to hang up on me! I could not believe the level of arrogance of this supervisor and the mismanagement that led to me arriving in a unit with a filthy disgusting toilet. This experience has ruined our weekend vacation and I would recommend that no one use this realtor!

DEFINITLY NO PROFESIONAL AT ALL

There is a Coldwell banker office in Cancun, but is close all the Time, apparently and unfortunately former owner died some months ago, and some agents mainly women take care or are using the name and offices with the owner family approval, i try to do a deal with one of this girls but she was very very informal, didn`t answer emails, Coldwell phones are out of service, she said her mobile phone was robbed, apparently she only try to get some money but never take responsability about what she do, they still using Coldwell Banker as commercial name but im no sure what kind or real training this people have, she never get ready contract, and she hide again when property fails. unfortunately lot of bad or totally no training people is doing real estate in Cancun.

Low balling homes

I'd like to preface this comment by saying I NEVER do this however people need to be warned. Several months ago we interviewed realtors to sell our home.Our first 2 were from Coldwell Banker. Both of them low balled our home. They both came back with a selling price of $280, 000 - $300, 000. We knew with all of the updates and upgrading we did to the home they were WAY under what we could get and we were right! We ended up selling the home for $349, 900. They would have cheated us out of between $50,000 - $70, 000. We believe this company is only out to sell homes fast and are not looking out for their clients best interest. As it was we sold the home in less than 48 hours so I guess the jokes on them!

Rudest people I've come across in my life.

I called coldwell bankers via a trulia number to speak with the broker who had contacted me before, Anne Beattie (I had lost her number when evernote crashed). I rang on the trulia number for coldwell bankers advertisement for the house I was interested in. The woman who picked up the phone was the rudest person I've ever talked to in my life, she said that Anne did not work there (3 times, almost yelling), and that if I was with another broker she would not give me any details, then quickly and abruptly hung up on me. All I had said was "can I please speak to Anne". I emailed Anne straight away to see if she was still working there, then rang again via the phone number advertised on the coldwell bankers website. The same lady from the previous phone call answered and asked me if I was with another broker. I said no because I assumed Anne was nolonger working there. I asked, once again, if Anne beattie worked there, just in case, and she finally conceded that she did. I said I would prefer to speak to Anne. I said goodbye, hung up, and Lo and behold this was only the beginning. The next day I got a very angry letter from Anne, accusing me of being rude, (I can assure you, I was very polite and patient, so much so that I regret it now) to her colleague. She also said that her colleague said I was the one who had hung up on her (Some parts written in caps lock), which is, ironically, exactly what she did to me. She was mad at me because she thought I was trying to switch to her colleague for the sale. She then wrote "I cannot understand how you could lose my number", "you got angry at her- why would you even do something like that" (I had a really hard time fathoming how they had construed that one). Bear in mind that I have never met her in person and had two ten minute conversations with her on the phone. She then continued to email me even after I had asked her not to bother me again, and again she wrote more personal accusations about organisation skills.

Cold well banker realtors is HORRIBLE!!!!SHAMEFUL!!!!

I was a buyer trying to contact the listing agent of a house. I intended to buy the house in cash (so I don't think the whole thing was caused due to credit/mortgage related issues). The agent belongs to cold well banker realtors. However, I found it impossible to contact them because they never picked up the phone after I called each and every numbers that I could find on the internet, they never returned calls after I left messages into their voice boxes and they never replied my emails. After I contacted their sales manager asking why, the same thing happened again!!!! All sellers should NOT use them as sellers agent because they are not working at all. All buyers be careful too, I do not think they are professional people at all after I had my experiences with them.

Martha Bashore Caldwell banker horrible, you will be robbed

I listed with Martha Bashore in Lansing Michigan. She was recommended by someone.

She made sence when you first speak with her. I was out of state. She emailed occasionally when the house was showing. She was asked to check the house after showings, neighbors would call me and tell me my lights were on.

Received a very low offer which she emailed me with no advice how to proceed. She never suggested a counter offer. When I proposed a number to counter with she, my own realtor bargained me down. Nice the buyer had 2 agents, there own and my listing agent.

The house was inspected and she going to tell me what they wanted. I didn't even listen at that price the house was as is. She wouldn't lower her commission at all. She was an annoying nuisance to deal with especially from another state.

She didn't show up at closing. She is a deep discount broker only interested in lining her own pocket. I would NOT recommend her or any member of her team. I incurred all the title costs as well which was never explained.

She told me we were splitting it.

I was robbed with this entire transaction. I'm sorry I listed with her and should have fired her.

Having used Martha Bashore in 3 transactions over the past 15 years, I find your feedback to be ridiculous - not to mention the fact that you can't spell. Clearly you are from out of state - if you were in Michigan during the past few years you would know that receiving an offer on your home and closing it was nothing short of a miracle.

You should be thankful but you sound full of hate. You were lucky to have Martha working for you or it would have been a lot worse, I'm sure.

Fran Carney is a horrible person

Fran Carney is the WORST real estate agent we have ever dealt with. She is rude and lazy and a liar. Do not waste your time or money working with this lady because she is TERRIBLE. We have met many real estate agents and she is by far the worse one. If you want your house to sit on the market for years and never have a single person come look at your house, then hire Fran. If you want all of your lights to be left on and the doors left OPEN, then hire Fran. Oh, and if you do NOT want to be notified when she is out of the house (because all of your lights are on and doors are open...in the middle of winter), then hire Fran. WORST AGENT EVER.

I went thru a nasty divorce and was forced to auction off my inheritance... lake property that had been in my family for 45 years. De Quam was brought in my my ex husbands "Team".... she is a gold digging excuse for a Realtor. Only cares about filling her pockets and not about the consequences of her actions towards people (and their children).. she doesn't know the first thing about her job and do yourself a favor and and hire a realtor who has a heart!!! I really don't know how she sleeps at night. I truly believe in carma!!!!!!!!!

I would not recomment them if they where the last one here in Shreveport/ Bossier. They are Rude as ***. Don't return your phone calls. And yes i am working with another realator that half off the time she cannot get in touch with her, or when she does she is nasty as ***. Well let me tell you something i can't wait till we close because i will personly tell you infront of everyone at the closing table how rude and nasty you are. And i will make sure that i will let everyone know that i come across not to ever contact you to sell or buy a house with you. D.B

Vivienne Yamamoto a real estate agent for Caldwell Banker in Sacramento California and a retired CDCR asso warden, parole offier etc. this woman has insulted and violated my brothers civil rights, broken the law with the assistance of sacramento county sheriffs department all to get a sale.

The owner who is a *** and run out of town said my brother was a transient who never paid rent, well actually he did I have copies of checks I had to write when he was short on the rent. she brought a locksmith and changed the locks while my brother was home. the police put my brother in handcuffs in his own home. Under what authority???

Vivienne Yamamoto's? of course they after an hour had to uncuff him, I guess they need the paycheck more than they need what she had to offer. she refuses to give my brother proper notice, which is 60 days since he has lived in the home 6 and 1/2 years. I would have thought Caldwell Bankers representatives to be professionals not idiots.

I sure hope you have a good attorney. I know the sheriff's department has an oops fund, and we the tax papers fund that account!

Coldwell Banker DOES NOT manage property!

I hired Coldwell Banker in Brandon Florida to manage our home due to orders from the military requiring us to relocate. My home was just remodeled, brand new counter tops and appliances. Coldwell banker was to do background check on the tenants, and at the least monitor our home via inspection 2 times per year. Needless to say NONE OF THAT was done! The tenants destroyed my home, had animals in it without a security deposit for them, painted my house (poorly), damages totaling $3,000+ and to top it off, Coldwell Banker LOST the security deposit! The property manager was useless (apparently) the manager of the office passed the buck onto the corp office in Sarasota, and all I am told from Corporate office is "All I can say is I'm sorry ma'am"... How can this company be considered "reputable"? They do not manage property, they simply collect a check from the tenants, and pass the buck on responsibility! I will never do business with this so called company again! If you have a home that you value, do not trust the to take care of your property.... All you will come home to is a MESS and a large repair bill!

I hired Coldwell Bankers to manage my Duplex apartments about 6 years ago. It has been a struggle to deal with them and finally I fired the manager and reported her to Headquarters in Sarasota, where they told me that she was the best agent....AUCH!

I will not go into the lengthy details, suffices to say that she did not do her job,(the first few years she had an assistant that must have been more capable than her).She did not return emails or calls, when she did she would just answer one out of 3 questions and leave you wanting for more explanations. she did not manage the property and let it go too ruin and filth. The tenant tampered with the electric meter and stole electricity and I incurred the cost to repair the meter. They tampered with the water hookup and she was oblivious to the whole thing.

Never once she reported to me that these people needed to vacate the apartment, until I was contacted by the utilities Companies, at this point I insisted that she get them out of there. Coldwell Bankers and their associates are a disgrace and a sorry excuse for a business of their magnitude.
